Foster Poultry Farms, LLC, has issued a recall for more than three million pounds of frozen chicken corn dog products that may be contaminated with foreign material. The frozen corn dogs may contain wood pieces in the batter, which the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has classified as a "Class I" recall, meaning that eating the products has a "reasonable probability" of "serious adverse health consequences or death."
This recall comes days after Tyson Foods announced a recall for several of its State Fair and Jimmy Dean corn dog and sausage-on-a-stick products for the same contaminant.
How To Identify the Recalled Frozen Corn Dogs
The recalled Foster Farms corn dogs were produced between July 30, 2024, and Aug. 4, 2025, and sold at retail locations nationwide, including Walmart and Sam's Club stores. All the recalled products can be identified by the establishment number "P-6137B" found in the USDA mark of inspection.
