Brazilian pork exports rise 3.7% in July

Brazilian pork exports reached 131,500 tons in July, a volume 3.7% higher than the same month in 2025, when 126,800 tons were shipped, according to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA). Revenue reached $298.3 million, a 5.6% decrease year-over-year, compared to $316.1 million in July 2025.

From January to July, shipments totaled 925,600 tons, a 9.1% increase compared to the 848,800 tons recorded in the same period of 2025. Revenue reached $2.158 billion, a 5.8% increase over the $2.040 billion recorded in the previous year.

The Philippines was the main destination for Brazilian pork in July, with 20,300 tons, followed by Japan, with 18,400 tons; Chile, with 13,900 tons; China, with 9,100 tons; Argentina, with 6,500 tons; Mexico, with 6,300 tons; Hong Kong, with 6,200 tons; and Uruguay, with 6,200 tons.

ABPA president Ricardo Santin said July's performance confirmed the growth trajectory of Brazilian pork shipments.
